SO BLESSED
Ah blessings, how they abound,
can you not see them all around?
why the very fact that you can see
is a marvellous blessing, yes a blessing indeed!
The voices, the songs, the rustling leaves in the trees,
the magnificent wings of birds
flapping in the breeze!
Yes, oh yes, I heard all of those today,
thank you, oh thank you wonderous universe
with music in my heart, I gleefully say!
I smelled a fragrant blossom and moisture in the air,
I felt such love wrapped around me
with such an awesome flare!
My fingers caressed a powerful, healing stone,
they also touched the face of a wise and loving crone.
I tasted the sweetness of the first summer rain upon my tongue,
reminding me of how fun the rain was when I was very young.
My mind whirls and swirls with wonderful thoughts galore,
it oft times feels as an eagle must feel as it so regally soars!

I called upon the creatures of land, air and sea
what wonderful words of guidance have you, this day for me?
As I meditated in love and tranquility,
a beautiful, loving dolphin came swimming up to me.
She asked if I were listning with heart, with mind with soul.
Satisfied I was, she began to let her guidance flow.
I am the keeper of the sacred breath of life,
I offer you release of emotions, of discord and of strife
revitalizing each cell and organ, without and within,
brings enlightment of not only where you are going,
but also of where you have been.
Breath in the essence of the great spirit's breath every day,
rhythmic, unstopping, cleansing, lightness of being, laughter and play
She continues on saying come ride the waves with me,
spread joy, the manna of life, feel what it's like to be truly free!
